We ventured on a journey, to Boppard in Rheinland,
To shop and to mix, to learn, to understand.
We travelled down to Dover, to get the ferry over
The Channel, it was choppy, we nearly all fell over.
We drove through France, through Belgium, Germany,
With Duncan and with Rob, of Andrews Company.
The Hotel Bergschlossen was where we was stayin’.
Wicked place, ‘cept the wifi – you know what I’m
sayin’.
We had chocolate in Cologne, the cathedral inspired
me,
But Haribo was heaven, in its entirety!
So switched on in Bonn, we headed back to Boppard
And we made some mosaics; man it was… not ‘ard!
We trotted off to Trier to see the Roman ruins.
We marched with gladiators, the trouble it was
brewin’.
We scaled the Porta Nigra – man it was dicey –
But then came the ice cream, it was chocolatey and…
nicey!
But it’s the story of my life; it’s just toil and
strife
The visit it is over and we’ll pack our things
tonight,
And… I, I, I,… can’t sing!
I had my hopes and fears before I set out,
But with Mabab ringin’ in my ears, I was buzzin’, no
doubt.
I would defo come again, you want to know the reason
why?
It’s ‘cos you’re beautiful… like diamonds in the
sky.
